Henry dead bats speeding claim
All Blacks coach Graham Henry has played a dead bat to suggestions he is the "prominent New Zealander" stopped by police in Auckland last Friday for speeding.
A New Zealand television station has claimed Henry was pulled over for doing 81km/h in a 50km/h zone and let off with a warning.
Police have since said the officer was not certified to use radar and so was unable to issue a ticket and five drivers in total were warned on Friday night.
Henry has not been named by police and, asked if he would clarify the situation on Thursday, said: "No I wouldn't, no. I've got no comment to make.
"I've got no comment at all."
The incident occurred on the eve of the All Blacks' flight to Hong Kong, where they begin a five-Test tour with Saturday's Bledisloe Cup clash against Australia.
