Ebert has LARS surgery
Port Adelaide forward Brett Ebert has undergone the radical LARS surgery on his injured right knee.
The club said on Tuesday the surgery was similar to that performed on midfielder David Rodan last year.
Rodan returned to the Power line-up in a matter of months after the operation which involves using an artificial ligament to repair the damage.
Ebert ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the first quarter of Port's win over Melbourne at the weekend.
No date has been set for his return to training but he is now expected to play at some stage in 2011.
