Dugan's re-signing delayed
A scheduling stuff-up means it will be one more day before rising NRL star Josh Dugan officially signs his new contract with Canberra.
The 20-year-old fullback was meant to front the media to discuss the deal - which will see him stay at the club until the end of the 2012 season - with Raiders chief executive Don Furner on Monday.
But after a 40 minute wait for him to show, it became clear that a miscommunication between Dugan's manager and Canberra officials had led to confusion over the date of the signing.
The promising youngster will now officially put pen to paper on Tuesday, after his driving charges are mentioned in the ACT Magistrates Court at 0900 (AEST).
Dugan was arrested on June 27 for negligent driving and driving while suspended.
