PM to be up at 4am for World Cup match
World Cup fever has caught on at the Lodge as Australia prepares for the fight of its soccer-playing life.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has revealed he'll be up before dawn on Monday to watch the Socceroos take on the might of Germany.
"Got alarm set for 4am like the rest of the country," Mr Rudd tweeted on Sunday night.
"Tough opponents. Go Socceroos."
Mr Rudd, who is in Canberra, might be able to snatch a nap after the big game - parliament is not sitting on Monday because it's a public holiday.
