Torres uncertain for Spanish warm-up
Fernando Torres was Monday rated uncertain for Spain's final World Cup warm-up in Murcia against Poland, coach Vicente Del Bosque said.
"We will try out how things may pan out ahead of our first match," said Del Bosque adding that "I don't think it is fair to talk about first choices and replacements" in a tournament format where every member of the squad will have a role to play.
Defender Sergio Ramos was expected to be rested while Liverpool's Torres is racing to get back to fitness after a knee operation in April.
"He will play if it is possible - but we will not insist," said Del Bosque.
"The player has his view as do the doctors. We are not in a hurry," he added.
Torres alone missed both the narrow wins over Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
Del Bosque said he believed the Poles would provide "similar" opposition to the Swiss, who are Spain's first opponents on June 16 in Durban.
Spain, as reigning European champions, are expected to advance easily from a group which also includes Honduras and Chile.
