Proud given leave of absence by Lions
Brisbane have given player Albert Proud an indefinite leave of absence from the AFL club to deal with personal issues.
The Lions said in a statement they would not be commenting on what sort of issues the 21-year-old is dealing with.
Proud has played 24 AFL games since making his debut in 2007, but only two so far this season, most recently in the round five loss to Melbourne.
