Peake, Schammer return for Dockers
Fremantle are set to welcome back midfielders Byron Schammer and Brett Peake for Sunday's AFL clash with Port Adelaide, but key position player Luke McPharlin is set to miss another week as he continues to battle a niggling calf complaint.
Schammer, who has missed the past three rounds with his own calf injury, and Peake, who missed last week's loss to Western Bulldogs after rolling his ankle against the Eagles in round 17, both trained strongly on Wednesday.
Fremantle coach Mark Harvey declared the speedy duo available for selection to boost the club's injury-plagued midfield.
McPharlin has not played since round 16 and failed to join in at full training on Wednesday.
Harvey said the 27-year-old key position player was still a chance to line up against the Power but was more likely to resume next week.
The Dockers will be without small forward Hayden Ballantyne for the next two weeks after the AFL Tribunal upheld the match review panel's finding that he made forceful front-on contact to the Bulldogs' Liam Picken.
