Adelaide Crows ruckman Brad Moran is expected to miss up to 12 weeks after confirmation of a serious knee injury.
Moran limped off the field after Adelaide's 16-point win over Sydney on the weekend.
The club said on Monday an MRI scan had since revealed a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
"No decision has been made on whether he will have surgery, but as a guide it is probably a 12-week injury," a club spokesman said.
