England on Six Nations Flood watch
Toby Flood was England's major injury concern as they entered the final week of the Six Nations Championship.
The Leicester flyhalf went off just before halftime during the 34-10 hammering of France at Twickenham on Sunday with a right shoulder injury.
Flanker Joe Worsley needed six stitches inserted into a cut in his right thumb.
England manager Martin Johnson is due to announce on Wednesday his team to play Scotland in this Saturday's Six Nations finale at Twickenham.
Flood's injury was a recurrence of the problem he suffered during last year's tour of New Zealand and it was immediately obvious he was in pain on Sunday when he slipped just yards from the French try-line.
"I slipped in defence once, and I realised it was greasy and knew I had to watch my feet," Flood recalled.
"Then I slipped again in attack with the try-line begging, and as I reached out thinking I might make it, I landed on my shoulder.
"It is a recurrence of the New Zealand game. Hopefully, it is not too bad. If it needs an injection, it needs an injection.
"I felt happy to carry on but the doctors made the call to not risk it. It was frustrating."
England's victory, which came off the back of defeats by both Wales and Ireland, has given them the chance to finish the Championship with a flourish and take second spot if they defeat Scotland, who haven't won at Twickenham since 1983, and Wales are beaten by Grand Slam-chasing Ireland in Cardiff.
Sunday's success, which saw the hosts score five tries, was England's best performance under Johnson and Flood said: "We said last week we were not far away from a five or six-try game, and I think we came off the pitch and left a couple out there.
"Hopefully, it is the turning point.
"We have set the bar pretty high after that performance and the pressure is on us to replicate that against Scotland."
