Cousins to talk footy with radio gig
Ben Cousins has shown he's still got it on the footy field and now he's turning his hand to radio, with a regular gig at a popular Melbourne station.
Nova 100 has announced that Cousins will join Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek on Monday mornings as a football expert for the 2009 AFL season.
"Ben will recap the weekends matches, discuss any topical issues that arise during these games or in training and talk about life in Melbourne," Nova said in a statement.
The former West Coast turned Richmond player said he was excited about the new venture.
"It's great to be joining Hughesy and Kate in the morning on Nova 100 and getting back to talking footy," Cousins said in a statement.
Langbroek joked: "I'll have to remind myself there is a law about kissing cousins."
He'll be on air from later this month.
