Viney joins Crows as assistant coach
Assistant coach Todd Viney has left AFL premiers Hawthorn to join Adelaide.
The 42-year-old South Australian had been the Hawks' midfield coach for the past four seasons, but accepted an offer to join the Crows as an assistant coach for the next three seasons.
Viney's portfolio with the Crows has yet to be decided, Adelaide coach Neil Craig said.
"We are very pleased to get someone of Todd's standing in the football fraternity," Craig said in a statement.
"It is always nice to have a South Australian come back and coach in SA."
The Crows recently announced their dual premiership captain Mark Bickley would also join the club from next year as an assistant coach, replacing Paul Hamilton who has moved to Essendon.
