Victory accepts Theoklitos penalty
Melbourne Victory have decided not to contest goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos' two A-League match ban for violent conduct.
Theoklitos was suspended for stomping on the foot of Central Coast striker Sasho Petrovski in the club's 2-2 draw on Saturday night.
Theoklitos was handed an extra one-match ban by the match review panel to go with his automatic one-match suspension for his send-off during the match.
Meanwhile, Victory officials will travel to Sydney on Wednesday to fight the nine-match suspension handed to their Brazilian striker Ney Fabiano for spitting at an opponent.
The competition's appeals committee will hear Victory's case.
