Reports add to Collingwood's headache
The reports of star small forwards Alan Didak and Leon Davis will add to Collingwood's headache as they seek to avert their late-season AFL form slump.
The Magpies, who after successive losses find themselves precariously placed among a raft of teams fighting for spots in the eight, had Didak and Davis booked in the eight-goal defeat to Essendon at the MCG.
Didak was reported for a jumper-punch on Henry Slattery, when he made contact to his opponent's chin while holding the Bomber's guernsey, while Davis was booked for making front-on contact on Jobe Watson, which caught the Dons player high.
Both Magpies, who between them have kicked 47 goals this season, could find themselves on the sidelines on Friday night when Collingwood play Hawthorn at the MCG.
The match review panel will assess the incidents on Monday.
While Didak's strike was on the minor side, the same offence earned St Kilda's Justin Koschitzke a one-game suspension last week, although he had carry-over points against his name.
Davis could also be in trouble given the match review panel has taken a dim view of incidents where contact to the head is made.
Essendon forward Scott Lucas was also reported, for striking opponent Harry O'Brien.
