Harvey reluctant to make changes
Fremantle coach Mark Harvey says he will make the bare minimum of changes to his side ahead of Saturday's AFL clash against Carlton at Telstra Dome.
Although the Dockers are languishing in 14th spot on the ladder following five straight losses, Harvey refused to hit the panic button, saying it was important to stabilise the side in order to address the club's disastrous fadeouts in recent weeks.
In the past three rounds, the Dockers have blown a 39-point lead against Geelong, a 51-point lead against Melbourne and a 19-point lead against Western Bulldogs - heartbreaking losses that have all but ended the club's finals aspirations.
But despite Harvey's wishes to maintain a consistent line-up, the coach may be forced to make at least two changes to the side that went down by three points to the Dogs.
Roger Hayden will miss the next three to five weeks after suffering a punctured lung in that match, while Harvey said Marcus Drum (hamstring) was only a 50-50 chance to line up against the Blues.
But in a boost for the Dockers, defender Antoni Grover appears set to return from a quad injury to face up against in-form Carlton spearhead Brendan Fevola.
"He'll train today so we are pretty confident he'll get up," Harvey said.
"We may look at him on Fevola and (Luke) McPharlin up forward."
Harvey said 19-year-old forward Chris Mayne would almost certainly return to the senior side.
"He's one of those young players that we are really looking to play more regularly," he said.
"He's a tenacious young kid ... I think in time he's going to be a really good player for this club."
Meanwhile, Harvey hinted that Blues captain Chris Judd would endure a torrid time against the Dockers.
"He's a guy we're going to have to sit on heavily and let him know he's in the game," Harvey said.
"(Ryan) Crowley's been fantastic over the past couple of weeks in playing on those sort of guys and he'll probably get dealt that hand again with some support from his teammates."
