Langer, Webcke to coach at Broncos
Broncos greats Allan Langer and Shane Webcke will reunite at Brisbane next year as the NRL club prepares for life without coach Wayne Bennett.
Broncos boss Bruno Cullen has confirmed Langer and Webcke had signed on as fulltime assistants with former team-mates Paul Green and Peter Ryan from 2009 under new head coach Ivan Henjak.
And former Broncos performance director Dean Benton will also return to Red Hill next season.
Benton's appointment comes barely 24 hours after high performance director Jeremy Hickmans announced he would join Bennett at the Dragons next year.
Benton oversaw the Broncos' run to the 2006 premiership before linking with English rugby club Leicester.
Cullen said Langer, Webcke, Green and Ryan would be Henjak's "right-hand men" and would hold specialist roles.
"I am very confident we have assembled a highly-credentialled team to take us forward into a new period for the Broncos," Cullen said.
