Troisi to make Olyroos debut
Teenage ace James Troisi will make his debut for the Olyroos in Wednesday night's Olympic qualifier against table-topping Saudi Arabia in Damman.
The 19-year-old is set to start on the left side of midfield, coach Rob Baan said.
"He's adapted very well," Baan said on Tuesday of the Adelaide youngster who has sat on the bench for English premier league side Newcastle on a number of occasions this season.
"You expect someone who's playing for an English Premier League club to be physical and he is, even though he's tiny."
Australia are currently one point behind Group D leaders Saudi Arabia despite beating them 2-0 a fortnight ago.
With three of the six rounds played the Saudis are on six points, Australia on five with Iran and Jordan both on two points.
Sydney FC's Nikolai Topor-Stanley is under an injury cloud going into the match starting on Thursday morning Australian time while Mark Milligan has been sent home with a back injury.
"It's not too hot right now and we'll be playing in the evening, so the conditions will be better for us," Baan said.
"We won't change too much our style, we'll keep them away from our half.
Australia play their final home group match against Iran at Adelaide's Hindmarsh Stadium on May 16.
