Lillee on shortlist for England job
Dennis Lillee is reportedly on England's shortlist to take over as the nation's top bowling coach.
England is searching for a replacement for Australian Troy Cooley, who has returned home after masterminding England's bowling development and strategy for the 2005 Ashes series.
Lillee says he will "listen to any offers" from the ECB, according to the Daily Mirror.
Former Pakistan paceman Waqar Younis is also being considered for the job, after helping Glamorgan to the 1997 county championship under current England coach Duncan Fletcher.
"Our commitment will be to find the best possible replacement for Troy," ECB headhunter John Carr said.
Lillee, who played a large part in the development of Australia's current new-ball pairing of Glenn McGrath and Brett Lee, has worked in various countries on pace-bowling coaching since his stellar playing career.
