Bitter boardroom battle looms for Souths
South Sydney could have another ugly boardroom battle on its hands following reports George Piggins is backing a campaign to depose chairman Nick Pappas.
Piggins pledged to throw his support behind veteran powerbroker Henry Morris to take over from Pappas - the lawyer who masterminded the court victory to have the Rabbitohs reinstated to the NRL - according to reports in News Limited newspapers.
Morris says he will stand for the board when elections take place in early March.
