Price isn't fearful of Rauhihi
There's no fear factor for Bulldogs captain Steve Price with North Queensland enforcer Paul Rauhihi playing in the NRL qualifying final at Telstra Stadium.
"It's a bonus for them but it doesn't change anything from our perspective," said Price, hours after Rauhihi (calf injury) was cleared to play against the premiership favourites.
"We've played against him twice this year and we've been able to handle him both times."
That's a fair point considering the 'Dogs downed the Cowboys 32-18 in round 16 and 36-16 six weeks later.
"If we start to worry about Rauhihi then his mate (front-row partner Shane Tronc) will go better," added Price.
"He is a big part of their game and we're wary of his off-loads but you also have to deal with a 117kg man running straight at you."
Rauhihi's biggest weapon beside his yardage is his ability to off-load to his speed men in fullback Matt Bowen and Test winger Matt Sing.
The Bulldogs have won 12 of their past 13 matches and are hot favourites to join the Sydney Roosters in the premiership decider.
But Price isn't paying attention at any such talk.
"If I listened to that we'd be in the grand final already," said the Dally M Captain of the Year.
