Jako in doubt after clash with minor
West Coast veteran Glen Jakovich has had plenty of tough opponents in his AFL career, but it's unlikely he's been beaten by an eight-year-old - until now.
Jakovich rolled an ankle at a junior clinic in Perth and is in doubt for the Eagles' clash with premier Brisbane at Subiaco Oval on Saturday.
"He's a chance to be out, he rolled his ankle in man-to-man against an eight-year-old today," West Coast coach John Worsfold said before training.
"So we're waiting to see how he pulls up, but he's certainly gone over on his ankle.
"We won't know how bad it is until tomorrow."
Jakovich's loss would be a further blow to a side already reeling from the loss of star ruckman Michael Gardiner (knee) for up to eight weeks and two heart-breaking losses.
James Hird and Matthew Lloyd led Essendon to a six-point victory at Telstra Dome last week, while wayward West Coast kicking at home against Port Adelaide the previous round resulted in a three-point defeat.
Worsfold said he wasn't angered by Jakovich picking up an injury during a clinic.
"No, that's part of their community work they've got to do," he said.
"It's a bit of a freak (accident) that it's happened I think.
