Johnson sweating on Origin fitness
Queensland lock Dallas Johnson won't know until later this week if he is fit to play in State of Origin III in Brisbane next week.
The Melbourne forward sustained minor lateral ligament damage to his right knee in Monday's victory over the St George-Illawarra Dragons at Olympic Park.
Storm physiotherapist Mary Toomey says the extent of the injury won't be known until later in the week.
"It will take several days to know whether the injury settles quickly enough to allow him to play Origin," said Toomey.
"The injury isn't as bad as first feared which is good news for Dallas and good news for Queensland."
Johnson was one of Queensland's best players in the series clinching Game II victory and is expected to be named in the side selected on Tuesday.
