Dragons' Soward down with flu
St George Illawarra five-eighth Jamie Soward has missed training after coming down with a bout of the flu.
Soward is expected to recover in time for Sunday's NRL clash with South Sydney in Wollongong, re-linking with captain Ben Hornby, who returns from a broken hand.
"Jamie's come down with the flu or a virus and missed today," centre Mark Gasnier told reporters on Thursday.
"Luckily we've got the day off tomorrow. It gives him some good rest and he'll be back (at training on) Saturday.
"Hopefully we'll get Benny Hornby back this week and he's obviously an important and integral part of our team, controlling it there.
"He and Jamie will have the session together on Saturday so we'll be fine."
Props Dan Hunt (triceps) and Jon Green (virus) will also return for the Dragons at WIN Stadium after missing Monday night's 24-19 loss to Canberra.
"I just got a bit of a triceps strain in the (round 19) game against Cronulla," Hunt said.
"It just wasn't right so the extra seven days for this weekend (was necessary). I pulled up sweet for training, so I should be right."
The premiers will be hoping to emulate their 2010 season by winning every game after a loss to Canberra.
They lost to the Raiders in round 24 last year before winning five straight, including the grand final.
