Panthers to dump Elliott at end of 2011
Penrith will have a new coach for the 2012 NRL season with the club informing Matt Elliott that his services would not be required beyond this year.
Under Elliott, Penrith have earned just two wins this season and currently sit 14th on the ladder.
Chairman Don Feltis and chief executive Michael Leary informed Elliott, the coaching staff and players of the decision on Tuesday morning.
Last season the club finished second at the end of the regular season.
