Storm pull through OK, except Manu
Melbourne expect all their wounded NRL stars except Sika Manu to be fit to face Canterbury this Monday night.
The Storm were one of several teams to suffer a heavy injury toll from the weekend's matches, however early indications are things aren't as bad as first feared for coach Craig Bellamy after his side were belted 34-6 by the Cowboys.
Second rower Manu has ligament damage to his ankle and will have scans to determine the extent of the problem but the injury is thought to be quiet serious.
There were initial fears prop Kevin Proctor had fractured his eye socket, but after experiencing double vision, he was sent back out onto the field late in the match.
Proctor's eye is heavily swollen and he'll undergo scans, but the Storm's medical staff are confident there are no cracks to the eye area.
Centre Dane Nielson appeared to be in a bad way when we went down with a head knock and didn't return to the field.
Nielson had been ill during the week, contributing to the severity of the hit he took and he's expected to bounce back before Monday night.
Troy Thompson received some stitches on Monday for a head wound but will also be named in the Storm's team on Tuesday.
