Pumas lose their 'magic man'
2007 Rugby World Cup semi-finalists Argentina suffered a huge blow ahead of their three November Tests in Europe on Sunday as it was revealed their star player Juan Martin Hernandez would not be fit.
The 28-year-old, 32-times capped flyhalf - known as the 'magic man' - has not fully recovered from a right leg strain suffered playing for his French club Racing-Metro against La Rochelle on September 11.
Hernandez has barely played in the past year, having failed to appear for South African side Sharks because of a back injury and then suffered the leg injury just a fortnight after returning to action.
Argentina kick-off their Test matches against Italy on November 13 in Verona, then play old rivals France a week later in Montpellier and round them off against Ireland on November 28 in Dublin.
