Injury-hit Springboks make three changes
Centre Juan de Jongh and flanker Schalk Burger withdrew on Monday from the South Africa squad to tour Britain and Ireland this month.
A left ankle hairline fracture ruled out De Jongh and Burger has a broken rib with both injuries sustained playing for Western Province against Sharks last Saturday in the Currie Cup final.
Former Springbok Adrian Jacobs of the Sharks replaces De Jongh and uncapped loose forward Deon Stegmann from southern hemisphere provincial champions Northern Bulls comes in for Burger.
Province scrum-half Ricky Januarie, another casualty of a Currie Cup final the Sharks won convincingly, pulled out soon after the game and his place goes to Bulls full-back Zane Kirchner.
Coach Peter de Villiers said centre Jean de Villiers (groin), hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle (flu) and flanker Willem Alberts (calf) missed both training sessions in Johannesburg Monday.
The team to face Ireland in Dublin on November 6 will be named Thursday and South Africa also play Tests against Wales, Scotland and England before a December 4 London date with the Barbarians.
