Briedis to present Norm Smith Medal
North Melbourne's 1977 premiership hero Arnold Briedis will present the Norm Smith Medal for best-afield in Saturday's Collingwood-St Kilda AFL grand final replay.
Briedis kicked five goals in the 1977 grand final replay as North secured a 27-point win over Collingwood after failing to kick a major with 11 shots at goal in the drawn grand final the previous week.
He will be joined in the post-match ceremony by four-time premiership coach David Parkin who'll present the Jock McHale Medal to the winning coach.
Last week's Collingwood-St Kilda draw was only the third in VFL/AFL history.
Extra time will be used on Saturday if another draw is played out.
