Rebels to play Crusaders in trial

New Super 15 franchise Melbourne will play the Crusaders in a trial match at AAMI Park on February 5.
The fixture against New Zealand's seven-time Super champions will be the first rugby union match to be played at Melbourne's 31,000 capacity stadium.
The Rebels had also been slated to make a short tour to Japan in November to kickstart their 2011 campaign but have cancelled the trip, believing it was too early for the fledgling franchise.
