Griffen says Bulldogs not finished
Midfielder Ryan Griffen says the Western Bulldogs "still believe" despite their embarrassing 62-point loss to Collingwood in Saturday night's AFL qualifying final.
The Bulldogs' self-belief will be sorely tested next Saturday night at the MCG when they face the winner of Sunday's Sydney-Carlton elimination final.
Griffen, who was one of the Bulldogs' few stars with a 34-possession game against the Magpies, says poor ball use proved very costly against the minor premiers.
"They just ran all over the top of us with their speed and the way they used the ball," Griffen said.
"We butchered the ball, which was very disappointing and the turnovers killed us.
"We still believe. There's still a lot of belief there.
"It was a tough night and the guys are just going to have to get themselves up.
"We've got a big game next week and we've just got to stay positive."
