AFL player manager Nixon in hospital
Prominent AFL player manager Ricky Nixon is being treated in hospital for pneumonia after he was found unconscious in his Melbourne home.
Ambulance Victoria said they transported a 47-year-old man to St Vincent's Hospital from his home in Kew just after midnight on Monday.
Nixon is suffering pneumonia, his management company Flying Start said in a statement.
The statement said Nixon's family is with him and say he is in a stable condition and will rest and recover over the next few days.
