Uruguay coach refuses to name team
Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has refused to announce his starting lineup for the World Cup semifinal against the Netherlands on Tuesday as originally planned in protest at the media gatecrashing a closed training session.
Tabarez was scheduled to reveal his team but declined after complaining that some media members broke an agreement by spying on Monday's training session at a stadium in Cape Town.
Captain Diego Lugano and defender Diego Godin are in doubt due to injury for the game at Green Point Stadium, while striker Luis Suarez and defender Jorge Fucile are suspended.
Suarez was sent off for deliberate handball against Ghana on Friday, and Jorge Fucile collected his second yellow card in the game.
