German youngsters can beat Spain: Klose
Miroslav Klose says a new generation of creative players can help Germany avenge its loss to Spain in the 2008 European Championship final when the sides meet in the World Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.
The German forward says Spain still rules supreme in Europe but "we have improved, big time."
Klose said that Spain is the best opponent Germany will have faced at this World Cup - "surely better" than England and Argentina.
Germany put four goals past each opponent to embarrass its old rivals in knockout-round matches.
Klose scored in each of those matches and has set a himself target of five at this tournament. That would bring him level with leader Ronaldo of Brazil on the all-time World Cup list with 15.
