Scotland claim historic win in Argentina
Scotland achieved their first southern hemisphere series win when they defeated Argentina 13-9 in the second Test between the two countries in Mar del Plata on Saturday.
The Scots won the first Test 24-16 last week in Tucuman.
Lock Jim Hamilton landed his first international try after just four minutes in rainy conditions at the Jose Maria Minella stadium.
Dan Parks stepped up to convert and put the tourists on their way to a 10-6 halftime lead.
Two penalties from Felipe Contepomi brought the Pumas back into the tie in front of a crowd of over 24,000, before Parks replied for the Scots with a penalty after 26 minutes.
Despite the sin-binning of prop Rodrigo Roncero, the Pumas dug deep, pushing forward into Scottish territory but failed to finish off any of their chances.
Contepomi missed a penalty on the hour mark before hobbling off with a knee injury with Martin Rodriguez stepping up to send over a penalty which brought the Pumas to within a point of Andy Robinson's side.
But the Scots held firm, reclaiming a four-point advantage when Parks replied with a penalty.
Argentina kicked into touch from their final penalty allowing the Scots to hold on for an historic win.
Argentina play France next Saturday in Buenos Aires.
