Nic White ran in a hat-trick as Australia defeated Tonga 67-5 in their Junior World Rugby Championship group match on Wednesday.

Brumbies Academy No.9 White piled on 23 points in Australia's dominant 11-tries-to-one victory, with Lachlan McCaffrey, Phoenix Battye, Cameron Mitchell, Robbie Coleman, Jake Schatz and Jonothan Lance also crossing.

Front rowers Scott Sio and Samuel Roberson capped a dominant display from the forward pack by both crashing over for tries in the comprehensive 62-point win.

Australia's next match is against South Africa on Sunday.
