Dos Santos cut from Mexico squad
Midfielder Jonathan dos Santos has failed to make Mexico's final 23-player squad for the World Cup unveiled by the country's football federation on Monday.
In a statement the federation confirmed: "The Barcelona player Jonathan dos Santos has been removed from the squad and will not participate at the World Cup."
Mexico, who are in Germany for pre-World Cup training, are in Group A with hosts South Africa, Uruguay and France.
