S Korean football 'a work in progress'
South Korea coach Huh Jung-moo says football is a work in progress in the country.
South Korea, which reached the semifinals as co-host of the 2002 World Cup, lost in the round of 16 on Saturday at this year's tournament.
But Huh says that the state of his country's football program is in better shape now than in 2002.
Huh says his players need to play more overseas football to improve. Seven of South Korea's starting lineup Saturday play outside the country, including Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung and Bolton midfielder Lee Chung-yong.
