James O'Connor ruled fit for Wallabies
Teenage sensation James O'Connor has been cleared to line up at fullback for the Wallabies' rugby union Test against Italy at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
O'Connor on Friday morning came through Australia's final training run to dispel any concerns over stomach cramps which laid him low on Thursday.
The 18-year-old's fitness has seen the Wallabies release winger Drew Mitchell, who was placed on standby, to return to Sydney to play club rugby.
O'Connor was the star of Australia's 31-8 first Test win over the Italians in Canberra.
Coach Robbie Deans has made a host of changes to his side as he trials a number of new combinations both in the forward pack and backline.
