Walsh signs Panthers contract extension
Penrith halfback Luke Walsh has reaped the benefits of his midseason club switch by securing a contract extension at the Panthers after just two NRL games.
The Panthers on Thursday announced Walsh had accepted a two-year contract extension after just two strong performances in the No.7 jersey.
Walsh walked out on Newcastle earlier this year as the Panthers sought a genuine halfback to fill the troubling playmaker position.
"I'm really happy that the move has worked out for me," Walsh said.
"Right now I just want to further cement my position in the team with some good performances."
