Mitchell set to walk out on the Force
Western Force winger Drew Mitchell is expected to walk out on the Super 14 club and join the NSW Waratahs.
With Matt Giteau already leaving the club to re-join the Brumbies, the Force are also now set to lose another Wallaby in Mitchell.
It continues a recent exodus at the West Australian outfit, with Giteau returning to Canberra and chief executive Greg Harris resigning on Wednesday just over 12 months into the job, replaced by Vern Reid.
Mitchell has been heavily pursued by Queensland and the Waratahs, with a decision set to be announced on Friday, but it is understood NSW have won the race to secure the pacey outside back.
The Force are also desperately trying to negotiate a new deal with young back James O'Connor, who is also being pursued by rival Australian clubs.
