Collingwood have announced one-year AFL contract extensions for midfielders Dane Swan and Scott Pendlebury.

Swan, 24, won his first Copeland Trophy last year as the Magpies' best and fairest player, while Pendlebury, 21, made the top three in the award for the second-straight season.

The contract extensions tie them to Collingwood until the end of 2011.

Swan averaged more than 24 disposals per game last year and has reached 100 senior games.

Pendlebury is regarded as one of Collingwood's best youngsters and has played 55 games since his 2006 debut.
