Cipriani makes case for England recall
Danny Cipriani underlined his case for an England recall with 21 points to help Wasps beat Leicester 36-29 on Sunday.
Cipriani landed five penalties and converted tries from Serge Betsen, Chris Bishay and John Hart as Wasps moved into ninth place in the English Premiership.
The 21-year-old flyhalf has fallen out of favour with England following disappointing displays against Australia and South Africa.
But with England defeated by Wales in Saturday's Six Nations, Cipriani couldn't have picked a better moment to show national team manager Martin Johnson what he has to offer.
Leicester's four tries, which meant they went away with two bonus points, came from fullback Scott Hamilton, stand-off Sam Vesty, No.8 Jordan Crane and replacement Johne Murphy, with scrumhalf Julien Dupuy adding two conversions and a penalty and Vesty one conversion.
