Moimoi back late for training with Eels
Powerhouse Parramatta star Fuifui Moimoi has been asked to explain his absence from 10 days of pre-season training by the Eels.
Moimoi returned to the club on Tuesday.
A News Limited newspaper report suggested the front-rower had been trapped by storms and flooding while on holiday in his homeland, Tonga.
A statement by the Eels confirmed that Moimoi and his manager Roy Spagnolo had met with chief executive Denis Fitzgerald, new head coach Daniel Anderson, general manager of football Andrew Hill and football and welfare manager Phil Moss at Parramatta Leagues Club.
The statement said the club was now considering what action to take against Moimoi if any, with a decision expected by the end of the week.
