Springboks make changes for England
South Africa coach Peter de Villiers has announced four changes to his matchday 22 for Saturday's international against England at Twickenham - the world champions last Test of 2008.
Last weekend the Springboks were 10-0 down at Murrayfield before beating Scotland 14-10, having had to hold on for a 20-15 win over Wales in Cardiff the week before.
In the starting XV, Jannie du Plessis comes in at tighthead prop with captain John Smit reverting to his more familiar role of hooker after the withdrawal of Bismarck du Plessis through injury.
Elsewhere, Danie Rossouw replaces Juan Smith in the back-row.
Smith suffered a head knock against the Scots and was advised to withdraw by the medical team.
On the bench, Chiliboy Ralepelle comes in as the replacement hooker and the uncapped Heinrich Brussow take the spot of the promoted Rossouw.
Scrum-half Fourie du Preez, who missed the Scotland game with a strained quadriceps muscle, is still unfit so Ricky Januarie was again named in the No 9 shirt by de Villiers Thursday.
Prop Gurthro Steenkamp was ruled out with an ankle injury sustained against Scotland. But star wing Bryan Habana was passed fit after suffering a thigh knock at Murrayfield.
South Africa's side features nine survivors from the team that beat England 15-6 in the 2007 World Cup final in Paris - the last time the two nations met.
