All Blacks down Ireland 21-11
New Zealand flyhalf Daniel Carter slotted 11 points with his boot and set up a try for Ma'a Nonu to guide the All Blacks to a 21-11 victory over Ireland.
Carter slotted three penalties and a conversion in appalling conditions, while winger Sitiveni Sivivatu scored a well-worked first half try for the All Blacks.
Ireland centre Paddy Wallace also scored a well-worked try for his side in the first half while Ronan O'Gara kicked two penalties for the visitors.
New Zealand play England in Auckland next Saturday, while Ireland meet Australia in Melbourne.
