Jedinak escapes further A-League penalty
Central Coast Mariners midfielder Mile Jedinak has escaped further penalty for his ugly two-footed challenge on Queensland's Hyuk-Su Seo last Saturday.
Jedinak was given a straight red card following the 70th minute incident, and as such received a mandatory one-match ban.
A Football Federation Australia disciplinary hearing in Sydney heard Jedinak immediately showed contrition for his actions and had also attempted to pull out of the tackle, and as such the mandatory suspension and a stern reprimand were deemed to be sufficient sanction.
Jedinak will now miss the Mariners' round 18 fixture against leader Melbourne Victory on Sunday, December 31.
