Hussain denies England players split on Zimbabwe
England captain Nasser Hussain has denied there's a split in his team over whether to play World Cup cricket games in Zimbabwe.
Hussain said England players were wavering in their opinions of whether they should play in Zimbabwe.
The English skipper said he was disturbed to watch a television report last night of events in Zimbabwe.
"I sat in my hotel room last night watching CNN ... and what I saw was very difficult to take in," he said.
"It was very difficult to sit there in your room saying 'yeah, we should go to Zimbabwe'.
"What we saw out of Zimbabwe was very poor but that doesn't mean we are suddenly saying we are not going or anything like that.
"I think all our consciences are split from day to day.
"We are asking ourselves whether we should go or not go and from day to day we are probably changing our minds but that is irrelevant.
"What is important is world cricket says it's going on, our board says it's going on, we have signed our contracts."
