Didak to miss two AFL matches
Collingwood Forward Alan Didak will miss the next two matches after failing in an appeal against his suspension at an appeals board hearing.
Didak was suspended on Tuesday night for elbowing Port Adelaide's Darryl Wakelin to the stomach.
His advocate argued to the appeals board that the classification of his offence as reckless and the two-week penalty imposed were manifestly excessive.
But appeal board chairman Peter O'Callaghan said the board could not be satisfied on either ground and dismissed the case on Thursday.
