Waratahs overpower Sharks
NSW has opened its tour of South Africa with a comprehensive 36-13 bonus point victory over the Sharks at Durban's ABSA Stadium.
In hot and humid conditions the Waratahs began brightly with two tries in the space of six minutes to Lote Tuqiri before a Mat Rogers point scoring spree over the final 42 minutes rounded out the match.
Rogers finished with a total of 21 points, through a try, two conversions and four penalty goals, in his second consecutive man of the match performance.
The Waratahs remain in Durban until Thursday, when they travel to Johannesburg for next Sunday morning's (AEDT) clash with the Cats.
