Double century puts England ahead
Marcus Trescothick and Andrew Strauss have shared an opening stand of 273 to give England the upper hand in the second cricket Test against South Africa.
England was one for 281 in its second innings at stumps on the third day, an overall lead of 88.
Andrew Strauss was 132 not out with Mark Butcher on one.
Trescothick made 132, sharing the fifth-highest partnership in England's history.
