FIFA World Cup 2026 - Follow Australia - Budget

From AUD 8,295/pp

'Budget Tour' hotels confirmed, plus all flights & transfers included. Places are limited!

Join Fanatics tour hosts Mark Bosnich, Aaron Mooy, Stan Lazaridis & Adam Peacock at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA & Canada.

Our Follow Australia tours follow the Socceroos' Group Stage matches & maximise the opportunity to attend other matches while in the host cities - Vancouver, Seattle & San Francisco. These cities, particularly Seattle & San Francisco, have big stadiums providing a great opportunity for Australian fans to attend two matches in each.

Nothing beats being on tour & supporting your country at the FIFA World Cup. To be there on the ground, fully immersed in the day-to-day fun of being in the host country & watching football with fellow fans in bars, stadiums & live sites is like nothing else. It truly is one of the world’s great sporting experiences.

Our Follow Australia Tour is, first & foremost, focused on football. We will be based in three great cities soaking up the full World Cup experience. Extensive touring with shorter stays in multiple cities is an option we looked at, but the constant movement inevitably means losing whole days with exhaustive travel and, worst of all, missing out on the football action. Instead, our tour is focused on living & breathing every possible minute of the World Cup, congregating with our fans & supporting the Socceroos at each of their three Group Stage matches:

  • Australia v KOS/ROU/SVK/TUR, Saturday 13 June, BC Place Stadium, Vancouver

  • Australia v USA, Friday 19 June, Seattle Stadium, Seattle

  • Australia v Paraguay, Thursday 25 June, San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, Santa Clara

Based on the way we have structured the tour itinerary, you also have the opportunity to attend:

  • Belgium v Egypt, Monday 15 June, Seattle Stadium, Seattle

  • Jordan v Algeria, Monday 22 June, San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, Santa Clara

Tour Hosts - Bosnich, Mooy, Lazaridis & Peacock

Part of what sets Fanatics tours apart is our first class tour hosts. Together they deliver their incredible knowledge & insight on the tournament, the mindset of the Socceroos as the tournament progresses, global football tactics, formations, the what nows and what ifs, & plenty more.

In 2026 we are proud to announce a massive line-up of Socceroos legends including Mark Bosnich, Aaron Mooy & Stan Lazaridis. Joining the boys will be football nut & respected journalist Adam Peacock who will be hosting the boys in our daily info sessions. These info sessions are your opportunity to get into the heads of these legends & learn from the best. The guys will be travelling with Fanatics for the full duration of the Group Stage tour.

Legendary keeper Mark Bosnich played in England with Aston Villa, Manchester United & Chelsea & represented Australia between 1993 & 2000. Never afraid to speak his mind Boz thrilled us in Brazil 2014 & Russia 2018 & we're very excited to have him back with us in 2026!

Aaron Mooy represented the Socceroos at the 2018 & 2022 World Cups & played his final match for Australia in the round of 16 play-off against Argentina. With an incredible paying career for the Socceroos along with his A-League, & international club experience in England & Scotland, Aaron will be on hand to provide insights into the current Socceroos set-up & our key opponents.

Star of the West, Stan Lazaridis made 60 appearances for the Socceroos between 1993 & 2006 while playing in England with West Ham United & Birmingham City. Like Boz, Stan was on tour with us in Brazil 2014 & Russia 2018 & also joined us in Qatar 2022 & is always a legendary touring partner!

Adam Peacock spent nearly a decade at the Seven Network & 15 years at Fox Sports. He now presents the Premier League for Stan Sport. Adam joined us in Russia 2018 & will provide the perfect foil for some colourful pre-match analyses from the guys!

Follow Australia Tours

Early interest in this tour is unprecedented since 2006 & 2010. As such we have pulled out all stops to contract flights, coaches & hotels en masse! We are therefore excited to be offering four hotel package options for our Follow Australia tours with Budget, Standard, Premium & Deluxe tours.

All tours will travel together on coaches & planes as well as have access to our daily info sessions with our tour hosts who will dissect each of the previous night’s matches as well as provide insight on what to expect for the upcoming day/s of matches.

In deciding where to stay we leaned on our experience of running tours to these towns & we have taken the time to contract great hotels in the areas we believe are the best for a number of criteria.

Vancouver is a great city & its fortuitous for Socceroo fans to be drawn in two countries, but the city is relatively small without a lot of quality downtown hotels & prices have been jacked up 10-fold. There are more hotels in the suburbs of Seattle (Burnaby etc) & these areas are OK but not great, so we have chosen the two areas we think work best in terms of location & budget.

Our Deluxe hotels are first class downtown properties as our package price indicates. Our Premium, Standard & Budget hotels are conveniently located in the suburb of Richmond which has bars & great restaurants in the area & is just 20 minutes Metro ride directly into downtown. It is also near enough to the airport which is a major hub in itself and super easy for travellers flying in, especially with the free airport shuttles. You will certainly enjoy their comforts & the ease of their location for the opening 2 nights.

Seattle is our favourite city of this tour & that fact as well as the opportunity to see an additional match - Belgium v Egypt, is why we have decided to spend the longest time there. It’s the closest thing to the future that you will experience in a US city. You will be there when two games are played, plus it will be our base for a day trip to the sexy city of Portland (one of our favourites in the US) as well as the nearby National Parks.

Because the USA team have drawn the same city, hotels are expensive & hard to find so we are lucky to have found some properties to call home. Rather than constantly moving between satellite cities we are basing ourselves here & this provides you the choice of relaxing in the city, taking day tours as above or plonking yourself in a sports bar to chew the ears off supporters from rival countries & espouse what your learnt off Laz at this mornings info session... In Seattle, (if your budget permits) you really need to be downtown, so our Deluxe, Premium & Standard hotels are centrally located downtown. Our Budget tour is 15 minutes direct train from downtown or 10 minutes in an Uber. This is a great city to walk & bar hop - you will love Seattle & what we have planned there.

San Francisco is the financial & cultural capital of California. It is now dwarfed by the money in Silicon Valley but the city still retains the vibrancy that started with the hippie generation & those vibes still exist today. Downtown San Fran is not what it once was with streets of vacant or boarded up shops & homelessness & petty theft are well reported. We previously stayed around Union Square, but we changed that a number of years ago for safety reasons. So while you will still want to visit downtown during the day, our Deluxe, Premium & Standard tours stay in the tourist-friendly Fisherman's Wharf area which is significantly safer to be based in with bars, cafes, restaurants, as well as being very good for public transport. The area is pumping & you will love what it has to offer.

Our Budget tour stays in the suburbs, just a stones throw from the Golden Gate Bridge & across the road from a shopping centre & sports bar. Downtown hotels are cheap but this area provides you the safety to relax when you stroll home from a bar when watching the late night matches. San Fran is still a great city, its just different these days. To enjoy it you need to be ready to walk it & take in the nuisances of each district of the city, so pack your walking shoes & get ready to tackle Lombard St. Note: San Fran is a fair way away from the San Francisco Bay (Levi Stadium) where two matches are played while we are there so your tour includes return coach transfers to the Socceroos game.

Remember that all packages will come together for functions & events, so you will be partying with the whole cross section of Fanatics tourists. Importantly, our package choices & prices offers fans different options to suit your budget. Each tour gets the same inclusions, events, merchandise, inter-city travel & access to hosts, parties etc. The only difference is the hotel quality.

Confirmed Hotels

Unlike other tour operators, we are open & transparent with our hotel selections. We have already contracted all of our hotels as stated in our tours, ensuring you know and receive the quality you're paying for.

As always, Fanatics tours are unmatched for price, quality & inclusions - nobody does it better! We have the runs on the board, we know our tours sell out so we have been contracting them confidently. The hotels on our Budget tour are:

  • Vancouver: Three (3) star Accent Inns Vancouver Richmond

  • Seattle: Two (2) star Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-Northgate

  • San Francisco: Three (3) star Best Western Corte Madera Inn

These are all great hotels in prime areas. Location matters & you will enjoy your stay at these properties.

Inter-City Travel

All inter-city transfers are included in this tour price so there’s no more to pay or no added supplements at a later stage. What you see is what you get. This includes your luxury coach transfers from Vancouver to Seattle & your flight from Seattle to San Francisco.

Match Tickets

As with past tournaments, match tickets need to be applied for directly with FIFA, be sure to register your details with FIFA to receive information as it is announced.

Most match tickets are to be allocated in the main ticket ballot open for applications until 13 January. In the lead up to the tournament additional tickets will be on sale on a first-come-first-served basis &, as in 2022, FIFA will also operate a resale platform for match tickets.

Thanks to the large host stadiums for the tournament tickets for most group-stage matches shouldn’t be a problem so we can look ahead to supporting the Socceroos in the USA, Mexico & Canada with confidence!

For those who have travelled to previous World Cups with Fanatics, you will already understand the ticketing purchase process & be comfortable in the understanding that the vast majority of football fans heading will be purchasing their tickets via the January sales phase after the match schedule is released.

In the unlikely event that you were unsuccessful in securing tickets we will put you in touch with other Fanatics who ended up purchasing more tickets than they actually need. Names can easily be changed on match tickets to allow another person to become the holder of their ticket/s.

Match Ticket Guarantee

As with a guarantee that we started in 2014 at the FIFA World Cup Brazil we will be guaranteeing all Fanatics customers will receive tickets in the ballot or via the ticket resale platform or they can cancel their tour for a full refund. See booking conditions for details & timings.

Travelling Solo

For Fanatics tourists travelling solo we guarantee to match you up with another single traveller so there is no need to buy a room for yourself (unless you want a single room to yourself). For those travelling in 3's - in some cases we can find triple rooms & if that's not possible we guarantee to match you up with a twin share solo traveller.

Tour Payments

A deposit of $1,000 per person is required at the time of booking. A second instalment of $3,000 per person is due by 16 January 2026 & a third instalment of $3,000 per person is due by 20 February 2026. The final balance will be due by 27 March 2026.

In 2006 we ran the official program for Football Australia with 7,500 fans, we ran an official program for FIFA in 2010 with our famous tent city in Durban & since then we consistently take the biggest crowds to each & every FIFA World Cup. Quite simply - we just do it better.

Our 30+ year connections in the game give us quality hotels & great access to transfers, events spaces etc. At home we are well respected, so we get the highest profile hosts who provide unbeatable insight. At the World Cup we take the greatest numbers so we throw the best parties each & every time. Powderfinger, Fatboy Slim, Daryl Braithwaite, you know the score.

As a sports travel business we run tours year-round, 365 days a year - not just every 4 years, so we have the best buying power & the best connections in the US & in each of the cities we are travelling to. We've run multiple tours to each of these cities in the last 24 months.
